Complaints - Whitecap Underwriting Europe

Upon receipt of the complaint, we may ask you to provide additional documents, information or explanations about the situation.

Please make sure that contact information indicated in your complaint is correct.

If you have any questions regarding your complaint, please contact us using the contact details indicated above.

 

Response period

We will respond to your complaint as soon as possible, but not later than in 10 (ten) business days from the receipt of the complaint.

If additional information or documents is request or if there are other conditions beyond our control, this period may be longer.

We will always inform the applicant about the reasons of any delay and the date when our reply will be delivered.

In all cases the final response shall be given not later than in 30 (thirty) days from the date of the receipt of your complaint and necessary information (if required).

 

Alternatives

We hope that we will be able to settle all disputes with the complainants. However, if you are not satisfied with our decision, you can submit an official complaint to the following institutions:

  • Czech National Bank (CNB):
    The CNB will not consider disputes in respect of the obligation to pay claims.
    Information on the complaint resolution process is provided on the CNB website www.cnb.cz.
  • Office for Personal Data Protection (UOOU):
    If your complaint concerns your personal data protection, you may submit a claim to UOOU.
    On matters related to your personal data, please refer to our Privacy policy available on our website.
  • Competent court of the Czech Republic:
    You may bring a claim before the court in accordance with the applicable Czech law.
