We are pleased to announce the launch of a new specialist venture, Whitecap Aerospace, dedicated to underwriting Aviation Hull War and Space Risks.
The new venture will be led by two highly experienced aerospace underwriters: Timothy Wright and Michael Hart, each bringing over 30 years of specialist experience in their respective markets.
Tim Wright is one of the longest-serving practitioners in the global space insurance sector. He began his career as a space insurance broker with several leading international broking firms before becoming Group Space Underwriter at Global Aerospace, where he successfully grew its space portfolio into one of the top performing offerings in the market. He later co-founded Altitude Risk Partners and was instrumental in developing its space business, which was subsequently acquired by Nexus Underwriting Ltd.
Mike Hart brings over three decades of expertise in the Aviation Hull War market. He was most recently with Liberty Specialty Markets, where he served as a leading market underwriter and played a key role in building and managing one of the largest Aviation Hull War books in the industry.
